@TheBogey66 As much as I like Josh's voice, I have to agree. McLean sings to the tragic artist in a most direct and impacting manner. Josh merely sings sweetly and I get little emotional impact. I also loved the superb guitar work.

Much beter than the recorded version he did. The musical arrangement was too lush and got in the way of the singing. Here the beautiful, understated guitar playing perfect complements Groban's wonderful voice. Still prefer Don McLean, but this is a great version too.

The thing nobody ever talks about is how his speaking voice IN NO WAY leads you to think that his singing voice would be like this. |
