I have watched this entire interview. Dawkins is such a gentleman but his frustration with Wright is so obvious. Wright is the scariest human imaginable. Wright is the biggest phony. The problem with creationists is that they think scientists are as full of shit as they themselves know they are. The creationists are either 1. completely delusional or 2. liars or 3. completely stupid or all 3. I am so glad there are people like Dawkins in this world.

Because, unless i am mistaken, there's this thing sailors call 'the tide', which pulls water onto the land. Try it yourself, stand next to the ocean at low tide and wait a few hours... you will need to be able to swim though.

All i have ever seen is repeated nonsense falsehoods such as irreducible complexity of certain things that are always shown to be easily described.

@Mogley52 ...So the statement "when no directing code and mechanisms existed?" is false and the argument is moot.These simple self replicating organisms can easily have formed by chance given geological time, let alone cosmological time periods.Even viruses are not deemed living and can be incredibly simple and are proven to evolve beyond reasonable doubt.QED.

This is easily shown to be nonsense when one takes into account that living cells were (and are) not the simplest form of self replicator, and that simple (even non living) self replicating organisms exist and simpler ones yet can be imagined.

Lev Landau once joked "To violate the time-energy uncertainty relation all I have to do is measure the energy very precisely and then look at my watch!"
