after 19 years, ive finally convinced my mother to let me have a dog... and ive decided on golden retriever!!! wish me luck!! xD

i got my golden after he was born when i was 5. he died shortly after i turned 14 last may. we noticed something on his leg and assumed it was a hot spot at first because he got them every now and then, so my mom did what she would usually do to treat it. it became very large so she took him to the vet. it turned out to be a tumor and the cancer had already spread to his lungs. we had to put him to sleep a week after we found out. words can't even explain how much i miss my tommy ;(

@littlewillisftw I know what you are going through. My golden retriever, Snapple, was one of the best things that ever happened to me. She sadly passed away at 14 too. It was really hard. I'm so sorry for you.
