@Aguilerazz Etta James is one of the most soulful singers ever. But I am not Etta. Although Etta appreciated Christina for whatever reason, I am unable to appreciate a singer like Christina who just sings to show off their vocals, and never sing from the heart. Corrupting this song from all of its melody and meaning is not what one would call an interpretation. There's always an element of fakeness when Christina sings, all the HAH and the giggling and Yayee Yayee!! Oh Please!

@STRATEKOOL15 i agree, she oversang the song and it lost its power. REAL lovers of music knows the difference from singing and just belting out notes. This song is about power,&soul. She overpowered the song by doing 2 much& losing the heartfelt emotion . Some songs are fine just the way they are. |
