Well i did finally figure out why this engine was running so poorly. The injection pump was way to advanced I failed to get the timing pin in all the way when i installed the pump. Lesson to be learned, always grip the pump shaft and verify it is locked solid by the timing pin before you put the pump on the engine.

its too bad you had to wait so long to use a machine that was supposedly in 'ready working condition". I dont know how much longer you will have to wait to use it but it sure has cost you money. One having to buy the engine..two having to take the time to do the labor.....three the money it could have been making you. I know you will get it in ready working condition. You are the star.

It's running, that's a big improvement from the last 2 months. Looking forward to hearing it running properly and seeing it move dirt! Probably going to have to fix a number ofbailing wire repairs.keep on flogging, you'll get it eventually!alan627b |
