James has the best guitar, it has good accessibility standing or sitting while playing. Looks like there is nothing to get in the way. The angle on the top end you can rest your arm comfortably while slow playing. To me this band just rocked better with Jason. The band had a certain sound in those days, like climatic building up until the end of the song. Sometimes I think the conflict between James and Jason made Metallica who they were it defined them. It made them better.
