Thanks to this cartoon, my fourth grade teacher was impressed with me. This cartoon taught me the word tense, and one day, we were doing a page in a workbook that involved a baseball story. One of the questions asked how the crowd felt during the end of the game, and I wrote down tense. When the kid who had my workbook called out my answer, the teacher looked over and said, "Tense! That's good!" That made me really proud, and I owe it all to this cartoon.
